The “Korea: Cubically Imagined” exhibition, held at the Art Centre in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai, from November 16 to 30, 2022, showcased Korean culture through immersive 3D virtual reality and multimedia displays. Highlights included a VR performance of BTS’s “Permission to Dance on Stage – Las Vegas” and scenes from Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite.” TIDE arranged an MOU ceremony with UAE companies to promote the content and managed the 14-day event, including the opening ceremony, K-Pop dance performances, and influencer marketing.

The K-Food Fair 2022 in Dubai was a significant event held at the Samaya Ballroom, Ritz Carlton DIFC, on November 8-9, 2022. Organized by the Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corp. (aT Center), this B2B event connected over 30 major Korean food producers with key regional distributors from the Middle East. TIDE Team managed all event operations, including food tasting sessions, a stamp event, influencer live streaming, and an MOU ceremony.

The KITE concert in 2022, titled “KITE: K-POP in the Emirates,” was held on October 2 at The Agenda in Dubai Media City. Organized by KOCCA and KCC UAE, it featured South Korean artists Rain and Heize. TIDE designed and built the stage, provided manpower, K-pop dance performers, and the MC.

In November 2022, Abu Dhabi hosted the ISO committee to elect the next chairman, with a significant gala dinner show held just before the election. TIDE proposed a simple magic show to influence the ISO commissioners in favor of the Korean candidate, inspired by a famous Korean magician who had performed a similar act at a government summit. TIDE successfully delivered the performance, and the Korean candidate was elected as the next ISO leader. TIDE also designed and built the stage, managing all the programs for the event.
